HOW YOU WILL MAKE THIS A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
As the HR Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day functions of the HR department with a focus on recruitment. As one of the first people prospective employees meet at MGE, you will be key in creating a positive experience for candidates and helping attract the best talent possible. This position will be involved in many facets of the HR department, if you are looking to start your career as a HR professional – look no further!
SOME OF WHAT WE ENTRUST YOU TO DO

• Support the Human Resources team across HR functions and processes.
• Assist with the full life cycle recruitment process.
• Assist with new hire onboarding.
• Complete required employment verifications.
• Track employee completion of employee evaluations. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Experienced with Microsoft Office tools
• Basic understanding of Human Resources laws, principles, and standards
• Top-notch verbal and written communication
• Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
• Critical and creative thinking

YOUR PRIOR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of administrative experience, HR experience is a plus.

COMPETITIVE PACKAGE
The pay range for the HR Assistant in Paso Robles, CA is $25 to $27 hourly.
This pay range is our competitive compensation at the time of this job posting. Your pay will be determined based on a number of factors, such as experience, education, skills, and applicable knowledge.
